Three Common Strengths Introverts Have

Oftentimes “introvert” is seen as a bad word, but just because we’re quiet doesn’t mean we don’t have a ton of amazing and useful strengths!

In the wedding industry, it seems like everyone has to be extroverted. How else can you connect with your clients, build relationships with other vendors, gain referrals, and ultimately grow your business?

Easy. By being YOURSELF.

Ok, ok…that’s easier said than done, I get it. Here are three strengths that most introverts have, which can all be used to help connect with clients and grow your business:

Introverts want to be prepared, it is what allows us to be ready for any situation. It not only allows us to do our job better, but also enables us to feel more comfortable when it comes to communicating with clients. Ever feel like you don’t know what to say or how to say it? Preparation is key (and we’re really good at it!).

This one is pretty straight forward. Introverts are know for being good listeners. We are in our wheelhouse when we can just listen and process all of the information coming our way. Oftentimes, our intent listening makes people feel heard and cared about, which is so important! We may not be the best at small talk or starting up a conversation with new people, but we are killer at attentively listening to others.

As an introvert, we tend to think very creatively. We solve problems in our mind, we think through all the options and are able to weigh the issue carefully before we even craft a response. Now it’s time to apply that creative mind of yours to help your business!
